![]() “Where’s the cart?” He asks, fighting the urge to complain about the burn in his throat. ![]() The only very noticeable difference being that the usual tea cart is replaced by a large ornate, silver tray, which Sebastian has placed on the nightstand. “My Lord, I apologize for not waking you sooner.” He goes about the usual routine of pouring the morning tea and mixing in sugar and honey. He sits up, and in an instant, Sebastian is by his side. It’s quite comfortable, if only he ignores how rigid his body feels - almost like he’s not moved a muscle for weeks on end. And by the looks of how abruptly the bed ends on either side, Astre guesses he’s lying on a twin-sized bed. He moves his head from left to right, judging this strange, new environment. The morning light streams in through closed, lacy curtains. ![]() Astre awakens, groggy and confused, in an unfamiliar room.
